We’re excited to announce that December’s Pokémon GO Neighborhood Day will take place over two days – Saturday, December 17, 2022 and Sunday, December 18, 2022. All the while, the Pokémon taking part in the 2022 Neighborhood Day celebrations will seem remarkably stable in the wild and in time analysis. Pokémon participating in the Neighborhood Day celebration throughout 2021 will hatch from eggs and appear in Raids and Timeline. There’s no better way to end 12 months than by catching Neighborhood Day Pokémon you missed!
Our Neighborhood Day meetings will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 and Sunday, December 18, 2022, from 14:00 to 17:00 local time (IST in India). Digital trainer meetings are likely to take place in 9 cities across Indiatogether with Lodhi Gardens in New Delhi, Shivaji Park in Mumbai, Saras Baug in Pune, Edward VII Bengaluru Monument in Cubbon Park, Lions Safari Park in Kolkata, Chennai’s Tower Park in Anna Nagar, Lohia Park in Lucknow in Gomti Nagar, Vastrapur Lake Backyard in Ahmedabad and The Napier Museum in Thiruvananthapuram.
Occasional bonuses
- 2× XP for catching Pokémon
- 1/2 hatching distance when eggs are placed in incubators during the event break
- 2× the probability of obtaining Trainer Rank 31 and the amount of XL Sweet received from catching a Pokemon
- Incense (excluding Every Day Journey Incense) activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- Lures activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- One additional specific trade will be made, up to a maximum of two per day.*

Featured Pokémon
A special set of Pokémon will likely be presented every day – Saturday, December 17, 2022 and Sunday, December 18, 2022 – from 14:00 to 17:00 local time. Pokémon that appear all this time may have the same probability of showing up as Shiny Pokémon as those that appeared during their authentic Neighborhood Days. Outside of these instances, each of the featured Pokémon can appear from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on both Saturday and Sunday!
