Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo has been making a lot of noise. A few weeks ago, Ronaldo sat down for an interview with Piers Morgan to discuss his career. This was a massive interview where Ronaldo said a lot of negative things about Manchester United. Furthermore, he requested his release.

Consequently, Ronaldo was able to get exactly what he wanted. Just yesterday, Ronaldo was officially sacked by Manchester United. In addition, the club issued a statement about the move. Interestingly, they took the high road and wished him the best.

“The club thanks him for his immense contribution during two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family all the best for the future,” Manchester United wrote. “Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to achieve success on the pitch.”

Now, Cristiano Ronaldo will look for a new team. Unfortunately, that team will be without Ronaldo for a couple of games. According to TMZ, Ronaldo has been suspended for two games. This punishment stems from an incident where he vandalized a fan’s phone.

Overall this was an unfortunate incident as Ronaldo claims the teenage fan was filming his bloody leg. This happened in April, though the soccer superstar has apologized. Moreover, she even paid for the phone and offered the fan to come watch a match. Furthermore, the suspension comes from the Football Association which had been investigating this incident for some time.

Overall, this has been a very strange time for Ronaldo. He has made numerous mistakes and people are turning against him. However, he still has a whole army of fans that will defend his every move. With that being said, we can expect him to find a new team very soon.
