Could Tom Hopper Be The Next James Bond?


On January 28, 1985, in Coalville, Leicestershire, the world welcomed Thomas Edward Hopper, aka Tom Hopper. She received a solid education at Newbridge High School and Ashby, where she became interested in acting. She took acting lessons and was involved in the production of Back to the Forbidden Planet. She went to Rose Bruford College to hone her acting skills.

An actor from Coalville who was once favored at 3-1 now has a better chance of winning at 5-1.

Leicestershire resident Tom Hopper has dropped to the lowest rating in months in his quest to replace James Bond. The star was at the forefront of the division just a few weeks ago.

Although the Coalville-born actor has been mentioned as a potential replacement for Daniel Craig for about a year, no official statement has been made. With the emergence of new requirements this month for Bond bosses who have effectively eliminated fan favorites Idris Elba and Tom HardyHopper’s chances of replacing Daniel Craig as 007 seemed to be increasing.

Will Tom Hopper Outshine Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Henry Cavill?

Tom from Leicestershire is best known for his roles in the Netflix original series Umbrella Academyalso Black Sails, Merlin and game of Thrones, but the rates do not reflect this possible change in wealth. Since then his luck has really deteriorated.

Bookmakers’ odds of Tom being Bond increased from 20-1 to 25-1. As such, he is no longer considered a leading contender for playing James Bond and has dropped from third to fifteenth in just a few short months.

Before Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page once again the bookies favorite and the current odds are in his favor at 4/1. of superman Henry Cavill Second place at 5/2 and bookies still place third and fourth place respectively, despite Elba and Hardy being disqualified due to the same restrictions.

Bond chiefs have stated that no casting decisions have been made, but the news isn’t looking good for Tom, who used to be the bookies’ 3/1 favorite.

Hopper has appeared in a number of TV shows and movies including Saxon, Casualty, Kingdom and Doctors, and most recently appeared in As You Like It at the Watford Palace Theatre.

Hopper played the role of Marcus in Tormented, a comedy-horror movie about a bullied teenager who returns from the grave to take revenge on his classmates. The movie, which was released in theaters in May 2009, received positive reviews.

Hopper has appeared in the 2016 horror movie Kill Ratio and the TV series Barbarians Rising. After that, he replaced Freddie Stroma as Dickon Tarly in season 7 of Game of Thrones on HBO. Freddie Stroma starred in season 6. I Feel Pretty, in which she co-starred with Amy Schumer in 2018, was Hopper’s first major acting role.

Hopper played Luther Hargreeves in the 2019 season of The Umbrella Academy. Hopper wore a muscular suit and trained in martial arts to get into character. SAS: The Red Notice, which premiered in 2020, featured Hopper.

Hitman Netflix series Hitman: Husband of the Year added him to the cast in March 2019. Hopper can be seen in the Netflix movie Love in the Villa, starting September 1, 2022.
