Tina TintorThe 23-year-old Las Vegas resident “died of thermal injuries in a collision with a car on November 2,” Clark County Coroner Melanie Rose said in a statement through a county representative.
“Other serious causes contributing to her death were inhalation of combustion products, fractures of the bones of the nose, right ribs … left forearm and (chest),” the statement said. “Her death was accidental.”

Ruggs, 22, is charged with a pre-dawn drunk-driving accident at speeds up to 156 mph with his girlfriend in his Corvette sports car before he crashed into the back of Tintor’s Toyota Rav4 on a residential street where the speed limit is 45mph.

Defense of Ruggs’ attorneys
Ruggs’ attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, suggested in court documents that they might question whether Ruggs was the cause of Tintor’s death. They declined to comment on the coroner’s findings on Tuesday.
Lawyers told the judge in a court document last month that they found a witness who told them that firefighters were slow to respond while fire engulfed the car, where Tintor and her dog Max died.… They did not identify the witness.
Other witnesses told police that they heard screams and tried to rescue Tintor and her dog, but were thrown back by the heat, flames and smoke.
Advocate Farhan Naqvi, representing the Tintor family, declined to comment on Tuesday.
A judge last week postponed the preliminary evidence hearing in the Ruggs case from this week until March 10.
Clark County Representative Eric dad denied in a November 11 statement that there were any “delays in response or attack on the fire.”
The fire captain who arrived at the scene said in a statement that the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived, “and the passenger compartment was unable to survive for everyone inside.”
