ORone of the most entertaining aspects of Disney+ The Mandalorian an all-star cast, guest stars and cameos from many of your favorite actors and actresses, starting with the main character himself Luke Skywalker played by the legendary Mark Hamill; Other surprises included comedian Bill Burr as Migs Mayfeld, actor/director Taika Waititi as IG-11, and Timothy Olyphant as Cobb Want, just to name a few.
With this new season, all fans are hungry for new additions to the cast, and both Dave Filoni as well as John Favreau they are well aware that having legendary actors is a great way to bring back nostalgia.
Christopher Lloyd is best known for his role as Dr. Emmit Brown in Back to the Future The trilogy, which recently portrayed the embittered grandfather in George Clooney’s Tender Bar, is confirmed to join Dean Djarin and Pedro Pascal’s Grog (most commonly referred to as Baby Yoda) on their space adventures across the Outer Rim.
While there is some speculation, there is no confirmation as of yet of what role Christopher Lloyd will play.
As expected, Lucasfilm hasn’t shared any details regarding the role Lloyd will play, but it’s only the news of his addition to the cast that has fans already speculating about what character he’ll play. Some say he will join Cal Kestis, the main character. Star Wars: Fallen Order video game.
The third season of The Mandalorian is scheduled to premiere in December 2022.
Disney+ is currently in preparation for the second season of The Bad Batch, which will premiere on May 4, and the highly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series, which will see Scottish actor Ewan McGregor reprise his role as the legendary Jedi Master and protector Skywalker on the desert planet of Tatooine. The release date for this new show is May 25th.
