OTTAWA (Reuters) – Canada’s factory sales were likely to rise 1.3% in January from December, mainly due to higher sales in the oil and coal products industries and wood products industries, Statistics Canada said in a quick estimate on Thursday.

This estimate was calculated based on a weighted response rate of 71.7%. The survey-weighted average response rate for the past 12 months was 94.1%.
