The 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations will be hosted by Algeria, while another North African country, Egypt, will host the U-20 competition.

The Golden Eagles and the Flying Eagles have already qualified for both competitions.

The Olympic Eagles will battle Guinea for a place in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Morocco.

Rivers United, champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League, are in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
