BTS RM To Release Their Most Awaited Solo Album.

The title and release date of RM’s solo album has finally been revealed. Fans have been waiting for the album for a long time. RM is the leader of the most famous South Korean boy band. BTS.

Among BTS members, RM will be the next member to release his solo album this year. The name of the solo album will be “Indigo”. According to a press release by BIGHIT MUSIC, RM will be diary to recount his experiences and anecdotes on the album.

The announcement was made on Weverse, an app and online platform that artists use to communicate with their fans. RM announced the news with a message, “Thanks, my first album is finally on the way.

I’ve been preparing for this for the last four years. I work with some interesting artists and the album is very different from my previous work.” The album will be released next month on December 2nd. Fans are really excited for the album to come out.

In 2015, Kim Namjoon aka RM released his first solo mixtape ‘RM’. He released his second mixtape, Mono, in 2018, which became the highest-charting album by a Korean solo artist in chart history, reaching #26 on the US Billboard 200.

Additionally, he has worked with musicians including. Lil Nas XWale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Krizz Kaliko, MFBTY, Falls Out Boy and Younha.

In 2017, he was included in the list of “10 Korean Rappers You Should Know” by the American hip-hop magazine XXL. In January 2020, it was upgraded from associate membership to full membership in the Korean Music Copyright Association.

RM was ranked as the 12th most favored idol of the year for 2018 in a Gallup Korea poll and moved up to 11th in 2019. Along with other members of BTS, RM received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea in 2018 for his services in promoting Korean culture.

Along with other BTS members, he was appointed by President Moon Jae-in as Special Presidential Ambassador for Future Generations and Culture in July 2021.
