BTS Jin Shares A Shaved Photo Before Enlisting In The Army.

Kim Seok Jin, known as Jin, is one of the members of the world famous South Korean boy group BTS. He is the eldest of all members and will soon be enlisting in military service. BTS is a seven-member group consisting of Jin, Jimin, V, RM, Suga, J-Hope and Jungkook.

On December 11, BTS Jin shared a photo of him with a haircut on Weverse. The picture showed the new haircut he had gotten while enlisting in the military.

The picture was added with the caption “Hehehehe is cuter than I expected”. According to reports, Jin will undergo five weeks of basic training before serving in the army. Earlier in the month, BTS’ agency BigHit Entertainment made an official statement regarding Jin’s enlistment.

They said that there will be no official event on the day of obligation. BigHit Entertainment asked fans not to gather at the enlistment site as it could be dangerous for them.

“We encourage fans not to attend the venue to avoid potential crowd issues. Instead, we encourage you to savor these words of emotional encouragement and farewell in your heart.”

According to the Conscription Law, which has existed in South Korea since 1957, male citizens of the country between the ages of 18 and 35 are required to perform compulsory military service. Singer Jin turned 30 on December 4, and as a result, he must enlist before completing a certain age.

He is the first member of BTS to enlist, and the remaining members will complete their enlistment according to their plans.

Jin will enlist in the military on December 13. Jin recently made his official solo debut as an artist with the release of the single “The Astronaut” in October 2022. Kim’s first independent song, digital single “Tonight”, was released in 2019.

According to data collected by analytics firm Gallup Korea in 2019, Kim ranked 13th most popular overall in South Korea and 6th among 13-19 year old girls.

Coldplay and Kim performed the song “The Astronaut” live in Buenos Aires in October as part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour; The concert was broadcast live in theaters in more than 70 countries.
