As far as Biden’s handlers are concerned, everything at the border is running smoothly. People enter without hindrance and are allowed to remain in the United States. That’s all they care about when it comes to the border: bringing in a new dependent class that will continue to vote for those in power. The increase in crime and unemployment is not a concern of the elites: they themselves will suffer nothing.

“Biden says he won’t visit the southern border ‘because bigger things are happening,’” by Diana Glebova, Daily Caller, December 6, 2022:

President Joe Biden told reporters that he does not plan to visit the southern border “because there are bigger things going on.”

A reporter asked the president Tuesday at the White House why he was traveling to Arizona with no plans to visit the border.

“Because bigger things are happening. They are going to invest billions of dollars in the new state company,” Biden responded, referring to a Taiwanese investment in chip manufacturing in Phoenix, Arizona.

The last time Biden was anywhere near the border was when he drove by in 2008 as vice president, then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in 2021.

The southern border experienced a record number of approximately 2.3 million migrant encounters in fiscal year 2022, and ICE underreported the number of illegal immigrants released without technology tracking by more than 18,000%, according to documents obtained by the Daily Caller. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and Vice President Kamala Harris have told the public that the border is “secure.”

Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday if Biden has any “plans” to go check out the situation at the border himself.

“I want to be very clear here. The president’s trip tomorrow is about the American manufacturing boom that we are seeing across the country thanks, again, to his economic policies,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Biden will visit TSMC, a Taiwanese company making a major investment to make chips, in Phoenix, according to the White House….
