Cincinnati took advantage of their goodbye week to make amends as they gained renewed energy and ended a two-game losing streak.
Nothing works for the raiders
After a week of farewell, the Raiders lost no wins, lost three times in a row and slipped off the top of the standings. AFC West and the bottom of the division.
In the first quarter, the game began with an exchange of shots for a field goal, first by the Bengals with Evan McPherson54 yards and then the Raiders with Daniel Carson26 yards.
Carlson gave Vegas their only lead in the second quarter with 47 yards from the field, but from there Cincinnati stole the show.
Joe Mixon’s Big Game
Star player of the game running backwards Joe Mixon scored the first touchdown of the game before halftime with an 11-yard carry-over to the end zone.
There was only one touchdown in the third quarter – a 53-yard field goal from McPherson.
At the end of the final period, Bengals pulled away, throwing another field goal for McPherson, 51 yards this time, making him his best. 13th kicker in NFL history land at least three hits from 50 yards or more in one game.
Darek Karr brought the Raiders to three points with his only touchdown of the game – 19 yards on Foster Moreau.
Ja’Mar Chase made his eighth touchdown of the season (ahead of all rookies) with a spectacular six-meter touchdown on Joe Burrow’s pass, an extra point missed.
Joe Mixon sealed the game with 20-yard hitting carries, and the result was capped by MacPherson’s fourth field goal of the day, this time 47-yard.
Cincinnati Bengals (6-4) will take Pittsburgh Steelers in their next game on Sunday 28 November.
In the meantime, the Las Vegas Raiders (5-5) will visit Dallas cowboys next Thursday, November 25, in a traditional Thanksgiving game.
