“When you meet the disbelievers, strike their necks…” (Quran 47:4)
There is, of course, domestic violence in all cultures. So posting this is just “Islamophobic”, right? Incorrect: there is domestic violence in all cultures, but only in one is it divinely sanctioned. Islam does not teach that a man can kill her wife, but once you allow him to hit her, accidents will happen.
The Qur’an teaches that men are superior to women and should strike down those whom they “fear disobedience”: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made them superior to others and because they spend their wealth to support them. Good women are obedient. They keep their invisible parts because Allah has kept them. As for those whose disobedience you fear, admonish them, send them to sleep apart, and beat them. — Quran 4:34
Muhammad’s child bride, Aisha, says in a hadith that Muhammad “hit me on the chest, causing me pain, and then said, ‘Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would treat you unfairly?’” — Sahih Muslim 2127
Another hadith says: “Rifa`a divorced his wife after which `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. `Aisha said that the lady (arrived), in a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) about her husband and showed her a green spot on his skin caused by her blows). It was the custom for ladies to support each other, so when Allah’s Messenger arrived, Aisha said: ‘I have not seen any woman suffer as much as believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!’”—Sahih Bukhari 7.77.5825
