Nine people have been killed so far in a new shooting at a Russian school: five children, two teachers and two security personnel.
According to RIA Novosti, an armed man broke into 88 schools in the city Filming has begun in Izhevsk, at the foot of the Ural Mountains. Another 20 people were injured, including several children.
The same agency, citing Reuters, assured that the attacker had committed suicide.
The governor of the Udmurt region, where Izhevsk is the capital, Alexander Brecharov, clarified that the as-yet-unidentified gunman first killed a security guard, then another member, as well as several children and teachers.
According to Russian media Efe, about 1,000 students are studying at the Izhevsk 88 School, a few meters from the city hall.
