The news follows an email sent by the social network to advertising agencies in which it offered advertisers incentives to increase their spending on the platform, in a bid to revive its business after the acquisition of Elon Musk it caused many companies to pull out.

Twitter touted the offer as “the biggest advertiser incentive Twitter has ever seen,” according to the email reviewed by Twitter. Reuters. U.S. advertisers who book $500,000 in additional spend will have the right to match their spend at “100% value added,” up to a limit of $1 million, the email says. On Saturday, a journalist from Platform News tweeted that Amazon plans to resume advertising on Twitter for about $100 million a year, pending some security tweaks to the company’s advertising platform.
