Instead of making Cup Noodle itself as a meal, you can make a great, delicious meal with Cup Noodle.

we usually think instant ramen as a cooking substitute, simple food for those of us who lack the skill or energy to cook something more complex. But what if we tell you that you can use Soup in a cup not just as a meal in itself, but as a key ingredient in a dish that tastes amazing, looks cool, and requires no cooking skills or hassle?

A clever idea for A Bowl Of Fried Rice Noodles comes to us from a friend’s website Ken’s outdoor cookingand only requires a few ingredients.

Ingredients
● Cup Noodles packaging, flavor to choose from
● Water (100 milliliters [3.4 ounces])
● Cooked white rice (150 g [5.3 ounces])
● Egg (one)
● Diced green onions
● Black pepper
● Sesame oil

Step 1: Open your pack of Cup Noodles. Remove all flavor wrappers and put everything else in a plastic bag, then crush the contents by hand (don’t crush the cup though, as we’ll need it later).

Step 2: Pour the crushed contents of Cup Noodles into the pan. Add all the flavor packs that come with the ramen and 100 milliliters of water.

Step 3: Cook over medium heat until the water disappears.

Step 4: Add rice to the pan. Beat the egg and pour it into the rice, then add sesame oil to taste and fry over medium heat, stirring.

Step 5: When everything is ready, turn off the fire and add pepper to taste.

At this point, Cup Noodle Fried Rice is ready to eat. As an added bonus, since we started with a cup of Cup Noodle, we can scoop the finished fried rice back into the container, eliminating the need to carry around another plate or bowlwhich is a plus if you cook and eat at the campsite or elsewhere away from home.

However, there is another option if you have a separate plate to eat and are looking for an easy yet effective presentation. Once the fried rice is back in the Cup Noodle cup, quickly turn the cup upside down over the plate.

Then gently lift the cup and…

…you get a stylish, sturdy cylinder of instant ramen fried rice.

Sprinkle some diced green onions on top for color and it becomes something you can serve to friends and family at a party or potluck, a feast for the eyes and taste buds that is deceptively quick and inexpensive.

When it comes to taste, Cup Noodle Fried Rice delivers the universally loved comfort deliciousness of Cup Noodle instant ramen, so you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn’t think it tastes good.

We used Cup Noodle’s tom yum goong flavor for our batch, which gave it a fiery South Asian glow. Ken himself says the seafood flavor is his personal recommendation, and we’re already looking forward to trying a few others to find out which is our favorite fried rice base.
